My younger sister, growing not so young,
found out that I might be not quite dumb.
Puzzled, she exclaimed in surprise:
I got once a photo of this guy
which was very frank indeed,
yet through no scrutiny could I find,
not even with a mighty glass,
anything of what seems to hide
in the dark recesses of his mind.
Why, all I saw was the dear,
old, well known stuff!
Which proves once again
that appearances are
but a cheap and vulgar bluff.
